Abstract
The virtual pathology (VP), a display mode for interpretation of computed tomographic colonography (CTC), was discussed. It was found that VP enables the radiologist to interpret long segments of the colon at one time. Some VP views such as planar virtual pathology (PVP), cylindrical virtual pathology (CVP) and mercator virtual pathology (MVP) were elaborated. The analysis showed that the use of VP reduced the interpretation time for CTC.
