Abstract
The vibration power flow on combined plates with a change in mass and stiffness or with viscoelastic damping layer was studied. The expressions of flexural displacement and other physical quantities were obtained by Laplace transformation and transfer matrix approach. The influences of the changes in mass and stiffness of discontinuous material and the free damping layer on input power flow and transmitted power flow were discussed. The conclusion can provide a theoretical basis for performing structural optimization design and reducing noise and vibration.
