Abstract

This case discusses a pharmacokinetic interaction between clopidogrel and omeprazole, resulting in a decreased antiplatelet effect of clopidogrel. Clopidogrel is a cytochrome P450 2C19 substrate and omeprazole is a 2C19 inhibitor.
