Abstract

One of the newer applications of the robotic approach to radical cystectomy is intracorporeal creation of the urinary diversion. The most common diversion employed during radical cystectomy is the ileal conduit. Herein we will describe a step-by-step approach to creation of an ileal conduit including management of the bowel anastomosis, performing the ureteroileal anastomosis and creation of the stoma.
