Abstract
Masked hypertension is not a benign phenomenon, and regular ABPM should be considered in patients with masked hypertension to maintain aggressive BP control and prevent target-organ damage. LVOT obstruction should be managed with negative inotropes such as β-blockers or rate-limiting calcium channel blockers; vasodilators and positive inotropic drugs should be avoided.
