Abstract

Peripheral nervous system disorders are common in the general population, and there is a vast range of potential causes, including metabolic, nutritional, inflammatory, and inherited. For this review, we will focus on the evidence for treatment of chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP), Guillain-Barré syndrome (acute inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy, or AIDP), multifocal motor neuropathy, and diabetic polyneuropathy.
