Abstract
Computed tomography (CT) is often used as a primary diagnostic modality for assessment of pancreatic disease. The primary goal in imaging of suspected pancreatic disease is detection or exclusion of pancreatic disease, characterization and staging of pancreatic disease. Pancreas-specific protocol is often necessary to achieve the goal, as routine abdominal CT protocol is usually insufficient for these purposes.
