Abstract

We report a simple NMR experiment measuring individual ⁶³Cu − ⁶³Cu indirect nuclear coupling frequencies in YBa₂Cu₃O₇. We show that the coupling interaction at T = 5K is of quite short range, indicating an anitferromagnetic correlation length ξ of ∼1 lattice constant or less.
