Abstract
An automated diagnosis tracing system was developed to enable global enrollment and optimized care of patients. The tracing system used billing record information as initial identifiers of potential study candidates. The modifications in the initial method helped to automatically determine the study eligibility status and scan the billing records for specific diagnosis and for the use of the electronic medical records. The availibility of Internet access to medical staff helped to automatically connect every medical office to a network of clinical trial and optimized care servers.
