Abstract

Velocardofacial syndrome (VCF) is a well-recognized collection of related cardiac and non-cardiac anomalies. Congenital heart disease is a common feature in patients. Two-dimensional and Doppler echocardiography provide a comprehensive means of non-invasive assessment of cardiac anatomy and function. The use of these techniques is reviewed with regard to identification of the cardiac defects associated with VCF.
