Abstract
Intervallic wavelets were used to investigate the magnetic field integral equation (MFIE) for two body scattering. Very sparse impedance matrices were obtained and zero elements of the matrices were identified directly. The effectiveness of the method was demonstrated by analyzing some numerical examples. The matrix elements were evaluated directly without performing numerical integrations.
