Abstract
Pacing technology has resulted in several methods for the treatment of tachyarrhythmias. Some of these techniques have been underused (especially single or dual chamber pacing to prevent arrhythmias and rapid overdrive pacing to terminate supraventricular tachycardia), and others await modifications and further clinical evaluation before their place in the management of arrhythmias is fully understood.
