Vibrational power flow in a cylindrical shell

Abstract

The vibrational power flow from exciting force to a cylindrical shell is studied and the power flow travelling along the shell is also studied. Theoretical analysis shows that the ratio of flexural, extensional, and torsional waves can be determined according to their related power flow components.
