Abstract
The 2019 Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (CROI 2019) was held March 4-7, 2019, in Seattle, Washington. Important research on all aspects of HIV was presented and discussed. Highlights include introduction of candidate drugs in new classes of antiretrovirals, long-acting antiretrovirals and insights from expansion of pre-exposure prophylaxis in various settings.
