Abstract

Primary pulmonary lymphoma (PPL) is a rare disease, which is usually a low-grade non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL), related to mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT). High quality histological assessment is the key to management. Low-grade PPL has an excellent prognosis and can usually be treated by surgical resection alone. High-grade lymphomas require additional chemotherapy or radiation therapy. Primary pulmonary Hodgkin's disease (HD) is usually treated with chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy, usually with a good prognosis.
