Abstract

Severe tricuspid regurgitation is a major health care burden with limited treatment options. The tricuspid valve anatomy presents a challenge for percutaneous therapies. Transcatheter valve-in-valve implantation has a high success and safety rate for treatment of failed bioprosthetic valves. The future of transcatheter tricuspid interventions is promising, with several investigational devices that work by different mechanisms currently being evaluated.
