Human retinal pigment epithelium cell culture on patterned surfaces

Model substrates with desired chemical patterns were fabricated using the micro-contact printing technique. Patterns with 10 and 50 μm circular domains affected initial retinal pigment cell attachment and spreading. The cells formed normal monolayers on both characteristics cuboidal morphology.
