Abstract

This paper aims at designing a navigation system for EV emergent charging demands based on the Cyber-Physical system frame. Taking the geographical system and the power distribution network as the physical environment, this paper utilizes the interactions between EVs and control center with cyber system to give the owner a clear information of the proper charging station. Such scheme would support a continuous trip for the EV owner, as well as maintain the voltage stability of the local distribution system, as an advanced and novel function of the smart grid. After the modeling of the system, a safety analysis based on reachability analysis was also conducted. The results showed the validity and the effectiveness of the proposed system.
